If you're wondering if I'm still cooking, the answer is yes. What's more, now that I have moved to a seniors residence, I am teaching breadmaking classes to my fellow residents.
This is not just a matter of pulling out a recipe! A lot of preparation is involved. For one thing they're all beginners so I have to test recipes so that they are beginner friendly. Can you believe that I have not yet found one for cinnamon buns? After four tests I have decided that the next class is going to be pita bread instead!
I can't wait to see the satisfaction on their faces when they find that their discs of dough have puffed up in the oven. That is quite magical and I never get tired of it.
